Take-home Pay Calculator
Estimate gross-to-net salary with SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG and withholding-tax components for payroll planning.
Calculate your estimate
From gross salary to estimated net pay
A Philippine salary estimate needs more than an income-tax formula. The employee side can include SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG and withholding tax, while the employer also has statutory counterpart costs that should be tracked separately. The calculator uses the same deterministic rule functions as the payroll prototype so the breakdown is visible rather than hidden behind a single net-pay figure.
Actual payroll may also include attendance deductions, overtime, night differential, holiday pay, loans, advances, taxable and non-taxable benefits, prior-period adjustments and year-to-date tax. Treat this page as an estimate and a lead-in to a full payroll calculation, not a replacement for an approved payroll register.
| Area | What to check |
|---|---|
| Regular compensation | Basic salary and other regular taxable items, net of applicable mandatory deductions |
| Supplementary compensation | Items such as overtime, commission, taxable bonuses and other additional compensation |
| YTD data | Taxable compensation and withholding already taken earlier in the year |
| Year-end | Reconcile final annual tax due against tax already withheld |
| Forms | Payroll totals feed employer tax reporting such as Form 1601-C and employee certificates such as Form 2316 |
How to verify the result before payroll approval
First, verify the employee’s status and the salary or compensation basis. Second, verify the statutory ruleset effective for the payroll period. Third, compare the calculated amount to the prior payroll and investigate material differences. Finally, preserve the approved payroll version so a future reviewer can reproduce the exact calculation even after rules change.
If you are processing multiple employees, the best workflow is not to repeat a public calculator dozens of times. Import the payroll file, apply the rules in bulk, flag anomalies and review only the exceptions. That is the conversion path behind these free tools.

Can I use this calculator for live payroll?
Use it as an estimate and verification tool. Live payroll needs employee status, period-specific rules, YTD tax, company policies, attendance events and professional validation of special cases.
How often are the rules checked?
The current site ruleset is marked with a verification date. Before production use, the system should monitor official SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR, DOLE and NWPC sources and deploy changes only after regression testing.
Why does the calculator show a breakdown?
A payroll number should be explainable. Showing the salary basis, statutory component and tax path makes it easier to identify a wrong input or stale rule than a single black-box result.
Can employers calculate an entire payroll from Excel?
Yes. The Payroll Software Philippines workflow is designed to accept CSV/XLSX inputs, map employee fields, calculate the payroll, compare it with the existing payroll and route differences for review.
Where can I read the official rules?
Each calculator links to the relevant official government sources below. If a calculator and an official issuance conflict, use the official issuance and report the discrepancy so the ruleset can be corrected.
